Blunt started its engagement with Rockwood in 2012, when we were hired to rewrite the entirety of its web copy. Since that time, two websites later, Blunt is the company’s PR agency of record, working on everything from press releases to media kits to award nominations. Blunt has completed more than 30 winning award applications for Rockwood and its president, Allison Grafton, helping to secure the company awards such as Alberta Venture’s General Contractor Award, Profit 500 recognitions and Fast 50 list rankings. Blunt has provided a range of PR services to Allison Grafton herself, helping to elevate her public presence in local and national arenas, as a speaker, host and media favourite. With Blunt’s assistance, Allison is a WXN Hall of Famer, a regular on the Profit 100 Top Female Entrepreneur’s listing and a past winner of RBC’s Women of Influence Momentum Award. Blunt is a core part of Rockwood’s communications and marketing team, preparing responses to RFPs, writing speaking/interview notes, preparing polished presentations and regular web updates.
