In 2012, Blunt was retained by CAPP to help revamp its existing member publication with a renewed focus and vision. Blunt completed extensive market research as part of this exercise including a readership survey, member focus groups, an environmental scan and detailed internal staff sessions. Based on the research findings together with Blunt principal Agnes Zalewski’s understanding of the publishing/magazine space, a comprehensive set of publication recommendations was presented including everything from a publication name and tagline to editorial recommendations and design specifications, including a comprehensive brand standards document.
After its fifth year of publication (in 2018) Context was switched over to a digital-only product, available online. Blunt continues to provide design services, including various digital assets and infographics for the magazine, as well as writing profiles and articles for the digital publication.
Award-Winning Publication: Context Magazine has received two IABC Gold Quill Awards, both as a print and as a digital publication. Blunt was a named collaborator for the entries.
